How do credits work?
Every plan includes a monthly credit pool shared across requests, builds, tests, and other metered usage. Credits reset each month, even if you pay yearly. Feature access is included with your plan; metered actions draw from your credits.
What happens when I use my included allowance?
On paid plans, monthly request allowances are soft caps, so they do not cut off traffic. When included credits run out, usage continues with pay-as-you-go billing. You can set a spend limit in Billing to control additional usage. Free usage stops when its allowance is exhausted; upgrade or add credits to continue.
Can I control additional spending?
Yes. Owners and admins on paid plans can set a spend limit in Billing. When that budget is reached, metered actions and requests pause. Raise or remove the limit to resume. Usage is reported in batches, so requests already in flight can slightly exceed the limit.
What counts as a request?
MCP tool calls count as requests. Discovery calls, such as listing tools, resources, or prompts, are not billed as requests. Builds, tests, bandwidth, and managed-chat output tokens are metered separately against the same credit pool.
Can I change plans or billing frequency?
You can upgrade or switch between monthly and yearly billing from your organization’s Billing page. Manage downgrades, cancellations, payment methods, and invoices through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.
